    Wonderful news!
We are very happy to have him be a part of our community.

  2. Muskego, check it out. It’s perfect for raising a family!

  3. Welcome to the area, You are one of my favorites and really Milwaukee’s surrounding areas are nice. Born and raised here. Again Welcome.

  4. Come to Muskego. It feels like you are out in the country, yet you are close enough to freeways where you can get downtown. It also has a great school system and a great place to raise a family!

  5. The city is crazy. I settled north in Port Washington 12 yrs ago. I love my small town on the lake.

  6. Wonderful ….Wonderful…

  7. Whether you decide to live in downtown Milwaukee or one of the many wonderful suburbs, Milwaukee REALLY IS a great place on a Great Lake. The many year round activities take advantage of all four seasons. Truly everything from Worldclass events to small town culture & craziness. People here are wonderfully welcoming and sincere. Great choice!

  8. Don’t go to Milwaukee unless you want to get robbed and killed. Come up to Park Falls Wis you’ll love it up.

    • Park Falls? Seriously? Great for a vacation…but not to live. Drunks, druggies, and strippers/prostitutes….NASTY!

  9. Eagle is really the place to be! Close to BOTH Milwaukee and Madison, but with a much slower place and you can see the Stars at night! Bon fires, cook outs and small town life close to th city but far enough away to have some peace.
Also, I’m a realtor, so would be happy to help you out when it comes time to buy a place.

If I was you, I think you might like it better in Northern Wisconsin, people are super friendly.

  11. Come visit first and check out all of your options… Great areas but it depends what your looking for for you and your family. Outside the city limits to the north or west might have more of the relaxing lifestyle you are craving. Then you can head into the downtown and enjoy the fun things to do. Further west will give you the land, lakes and room to do your outdoorsy things!

That is pretty awesome. I grew up there. I hope he enjoys what milwaukee has to offer. Recently moved to LA and now I am in northern Cali near San Fransisco. He’s a cool guy I’m sure he will love it! Definitely a change of pace and will have a lot of luxury time to just enjoy life there. So many cool naturey places along side being able to go to Chicago, Madison, etc within an arm’s reach. Awesome!

  13. Mukwonago is a great community. Grew up in Milwaukee but love the country feel of Mukwonago. Great people and good schools. Right by Kettle Moraine state parks for great outdoor fun but close enough to Milwaukee and Chicago for that city excitement.

  14. Greendale’s the best.

  15. Welcome to Wisconsin! The Kenosha area is very well developed with tons of authentic Italian, Mexican and Asian cuisine. There is always something new to discover here. Mark Ruffalo is from Kenosha!

  16. Kenosha is located just 45 minutes from Milwaukee, 45 minutes from Chicago, and is on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan.

  17. Alright, alright…..

  18. If he needs a friendly talented and gracious hairstylist, have Mr.Mathew call me at Designs Unlimited in franklin Wi. 414-304-1799 and I would love to give his amazing head of hair a home. 😀

  19. If this is true,I think it’s great. But let’s see if he has what it takes to stay the winter……( or go back to L.A. for winters) Should be interesting.

Hey, just great to hear you like Wisconsin to move here. I think Mathew, you would look great in Badger red, Packer green/gold & Brewer navy because it’s a requirement to follow the home teams. Kidding but it does help.

  21. Kenosha is perfect…

  22. Come on over for dinner some night

  23. Darn!!!! Milwaukee, Oregon is nice, too! We are friendly and laid back as well if you don’t want to go so far East to find your Milwaukee!

  24. I live in Burlington WI, I’m like 20 minutes from Milwaukee it’s calm and peaceful. Everyone knows everyone and I love it.

  25. Greetings from beautyful door country wis the cape cod of the mid west totally understand matts decision welcome Dick Wegman ephraim

  26. Menominee Falls is just on the other side of the Milwaukee County line and probably one of the nicest areas to live in if you want to be close to Milwaukee. If you go deeper into Waukesha county for more nature, bigger lots and fewer people, the community around Lake Nagawicka is super nice and laid back with has easy access to I-94. Ice fishing in winter, water skiing in summer, fireworks over the lake in July. The whole bit. Good luck finding your perfect spot!

I think you should check out Baraboo, Wisconsin. Baraboo was named the 4th Best Small Town to Visit in the United States by Smithsonian Magazine in 2013. I love this town.
